About Hive Integration
Hive Integration designs, installs, and maintains the technology we put into the finest homes and commercial spaces across Tampa Bay. Since 2010, we have been the trusted partner for high-net-worth clients who expect their smart home and automation systems to simply work — beautifully, reliably, and for the life of the system. Our promise is in our name: Connected Spaces. Seamless Control.
We are in an exciting chapter of growth, and we are building the team to match. This is a newly created seat with real ownership, direct access to leadership, and a clear runway to make an outsized impact.
Your timing is ideal. On July 1 we launch a refreshed brand and a new website — and from your first week, you’ll own carrying that new identity into the market: our content, our social, our events, and our trade relationships.
The Role
The Marketing & Brand Coordinator owns the engine that powers Hive’s reputation in our market — our brand presence, our content, our events, and our relationships with the architects, designers, and builders who specify our work. You build the room, fill the room, and create the warm moment; our leadership and sales team carry the relationship from there. You are the firsthand owner of how Hive shows up everywhere our future clients and trade partners look.
This is a hands-on, get-it-done seat for someone who is equally comfortable writing a polished email to a design firm, producing a week of social content from a single event, coordinating a lunch-and-learn end to end, and directing our outside marketing agency to get more from every dollar.
What You’ll Own
• Specifier & trade marketing. Plan and run the marketing that keeps Hive top-of-mind with architects, interior designers, and builders — invitations, newsletters, follow-up, and consistent, on-brand communication that nurtures the referral relationships driving our best business.
• Events, start to finish. Own the logistics and promotion of lunch-and-learns, open houses, CEU accreditation courses, and showroom experiences — from concept and calendar to setup, materials, and follow-through.
• Gift-giving strategy. Build and run a thoughtful, brand-right gifting program that strengthens our trade and client relationships.
• Content production. Create original content for our organic and in-house use — turning a single install, event, or project into a week of social posts, emails, and web material. Coordinate photography and video as needed.
• Digital footprint. Maintain and grow our social media, website, and entire digital presence — keeping everything current, consistent, and unmistakably Hive.
• Agency partnership. Work firsthand with One Firefly, our digital marketing agency, as their primary point of contact — feeding them strong source material and holding the bar on quality so we maximize every deliverable. You’ll also partner closely with our internal Systems team on HubSpot and website mechanics.
• Local outreach. Lead Hive’s local presence and community activities — the in-person, on-the-ground work that a referral-driven business depends on.
• Brand stewardship. Protect the Hive identity — our voice, our look, and our standards — across every piece that goes out the door.
What You Bring (Required)
• Trade-channel marketing experience. Demonstrated success marketing to — or building referral relationships with — a professional or trade audience: architects, designers, builders, luxury homebuilders, interior design, real estate, or a comparable high-end referral channel. This is the heart of the seat.
• AI literacy. You use modern AI tools fluently to draft, repurpose, and multiply content — and you have the judgment to edit and polish so nothing ships that breaks our brand voice. You turn one asset into many and lean on automation to work smarter.
• Hands-on content creation. 2–4 years of marketing or communications experience producing content across social, email, and graphics or video. Canva proficiency required; Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Event coordination. Proven ability to run events from first idea to flawless execution.
• Sharp writing & brand discipline. Excellent writing and an instinct for keeping every touchpoint consistent and on-brand.
• Agency management comfort. Confidence directing and getting the most out of an outside marketing partner.
• Local mobility. A valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation for local events and outreach.
Bonus Points (Not Required)
• Experience in custom integration, AV, smart home, luxury home, or the building trades
• Hands-on HubSpot experience
• Photography or videography skills
• Experience coordinating CEU or continuing-education courses
