Simformotion™ LLC, a global simulation training company, is seeking a Marketing & Web Specialist to take ownership of our digital presence across multiple brands. The successful candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of WordPress, including upkeep, design, functionality and SEO. Simformotion is the licensee for Cat® Simulators, the author of SimScholars® curricula, and partners with other companies to sell simulation training products. This is a semi-remote position. Remote, but must be able to drive to the office for several meetings per month. Must be located within 2 hours of the Peoria area.
The Marketing & Web Specialist will maintain and update Simformotion’s five websites and LMS as well as supporting the Marketing and Curriculum Teams on projects across multiple brands.
- Proficient in WordPress, plugins, themes, etc.
- Publish content across multiple platforms and websites
- Optimize websites for best functionality and SEO
- Troubleshoot and resolve functionality issues
- Strong design skills to create, edit, proof and optimize marketing materials following brand guidelines
- Provide support to the sales department
- Understand Google Analytics
- Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Develop a good understanding of our growing simulator product line, customer users and industries
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in website and graphic design/WordPress development.
- Experience with HTML/CSS for purposes of manipulating visual presentations and styles. Basic understanding of JavaScript preferred but not required.
- Proven proficiency and experience with Adobe Creative Suite; additional creative, visual, interactive and multimedia tools a plus.
- Understand Articulate 360 (Rise) to create curriculum layouts for LMS
- Understand SEO best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work well in teams as well as independently.
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written skills required.
This position will be considered semi-remote employment. Headquartered in Peoria, Ill. Salary is based on experience. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, paid holidays and paid time off.
