Marketing Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator assists in the execution of marketing initiatives that support hotel revenue, brand awareness, guest engagement, outlet promotions, events, and community partnerships. Responsible for assisting with social media management, content creation, email marketing, graphic design, influencer program support, sponsorship fulfillment, and promotional activities. Also responsible for ensuring marketing communications, content, and materials adhere to Hard Rock brand standards and company policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
Monitor social media platforms and respond to guest comments, direct messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Schedule and publish social media posts, stories, reels, and other approved content.
Create and manage boosted posts and Meta advertising campaigns as directed by the Director of Marketing.
Capture photo and video content on property for use in social media, email marketing, website content, and promotional campaigns.
Engage with followers and relevant accounts to foster community engagement and increase brand awareness.
Create and distribute email marketing campaigns on a timely basis.
Create digital graphics, promotional materials, flyers, signage, and marketing collateral using approved design platforms.
Assist with maintaining content calendars and marketing schedules.
Utilize guest reviews and user-generated content to create social media stories and promotional content.
Coordinate printing of marketing materials and communicate with printers and approved vendors.
Pick up and distribute printed marketing materials as needed.
Assist with the execution of on-property events, promotions, and marketing activations.
Review incoming influencer and creator partnership requests and provide recommendations to the Director of Marketing.
Research and identify potential influencers and content creators that align with marketing objectives.
Prepare influencer welcome gifts and coordinate approved influencer amenities.
Track influencer deliverables, content submissions, deadlines, and performance analytics.
Review sponsorship and donation requests and coordinate fulfillment of approved opportunities.
Maintain organized marketing files, creative assets, photography, video content, and promotional materials.
Present a clean, pleasant, professional image to project a positive appearance to guests, partners, vendors, and team members.
Contribute and work as a "team member" in all facets of the position.
Perform other services and duties as requested by the Director of Marketing or the General Manager.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to identify content opportunities and proactively suggest creative marketing ideas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with social media management platforms, content scheduling tools, and basic reporting systems preferred.
Knowledge of influencer marketing, content partnerships, and campaign tracking preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support special events, activations, photo shoots, and content capture opportunities.
Understanding of hospitality, tourism, entertainment, or lifestyle marketing preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when representing the organization online and in person.
