Description

The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen the bank’s brand and support business goals. This role collaborates with internal teams to develop compliant digital, video, and marketing content.

 

*This role can be in any of First State Bank's eight locations, hybrid, or remote within in the State of Wisconsin*

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years related experience in the following areas:
  • Adobe Creative Suite/graphic design
  • MS Office
  • WordPress preferred
  • SharePoint a plus
  • Website Management
  • Social Media Coordination & Planning

Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered. 

Summary

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for bank products and services 
  • Monitor campaign performance and analytics
  • Support brand management by ensuring marketing materials align with established brand standards, voice, and visual identity.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to support marketing initiatives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Create and schedule engaging content across Social Media platforms
  • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with campaign goals
  • Track engagement metrics and improve reach and conversion
  • Oversee regular content updates and ensure accuracy of product information
  • Monitor website analytics and user behavior
  • Support the planning, production, and distribution of video content for marketing, education, and communication initiatives.
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and communications across approved audiences
  • Coordinate digital advertising initiatives such as streaming media ads and paid search campaigns.
  • Manage content for external and internal digital displays, including outside signage and in‑branch monitors.
  • Organize bank-sponsored events including the coordination of logistics such as venue, vendors, materials, and staffing
  • Promote and coordinate volunteer opportunities aligned with the bank’s community initiatives
  • Assist in the development of internal campaigns to encourage employee participation in volunteer programs
  • Support the employee intranet by updating and maintaining timely, accurate, and brand‑aligned internal content.
  • Assist with creating talking points, FAQs, or internal announcements for leaders and managers
  • Create internal launch materials so employees understand and can confidently communicate changes to customers
  • Partner with Wealth Management advisors to develop marketing materials that support client acquisition, retention, and engagement
