Alloy Engineering is seeking a Master MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator with 10+ years of experience to join our 100% employee-owned team. This isn't just a production job; it’s a role for a skilled artisan who takes pride in high-stakes craftsmanship and complex industrial builds.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Welding: Perform expert-level MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on high-stakes materials.
  • Custom Fabrication: Execute full-cycle metal fabrication, including layout, fit-up, and assembly of complex industrial equipment.
  • Technical Mastery: Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and complex weld symbols with 100% accuracy.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all work meets rigorous ASME and AWS quality standards.
  • Versatility: Expertly weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.

Requirements

 Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of proven experience as a MIG/TIG welder in heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Proficient ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Demostrated mastery welding stainless steel and nickel alloys experience a plus
  • Expert in using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
  • Must provide basic welding tools (hood, hand tools, measuring tools)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs
  • Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed
  • Some work performed inside, underneath, or on top of fabrications
  • 10-hour shifts/ 55 hours a week  in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing facility
  • Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required
  • Must have personal welding hood and basic hand tools.
