We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our medical office.
Description
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient procedures.
- Obtain and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Prepare patients for X-ray imaging and assist with positioning as necessary.
- Administer medications under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Provide medical administrative support, including maintaining patient records, updating medical histories, and processing insurance forms and calling pharmacies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and healthcare practices.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements and basic medical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
