Position Schedule & Location:
- Status: Full-Time
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Howland, OH
Essential Duties:
- Clinical Support: Room patients, measure vital signs, record medications/allergies, and collect or process specialized laboratory specimens.
- Patient Coordination: Schedule procedures and surgeries, coordinate with surgical/specialty vendors, and manage physician block times.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage electronic medical records (EMR), secure specialty insurance authorizations, and resolve patient eligibility issues.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all OSHA and Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years of experience directly related to hands-on patient care.
- Backgrounds Welcomed: Prior experience as an STNA, CNA, Phlebotomist, or Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable.
- Education: Formal Medical Assistant schooling is a plus, but not required if equivalent clinical experience is met.
- Core Skills: Exceptional customer service, strong multitasking capabilities, and proficiency utilizing medical record databases.
