Medical Assistant – Family Medicine & OB Services
Job Type: Full-time / Non-exempt
Job Location: Muskegon, MI


Hackley Community Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our Family Medicine and OB provider. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of the Site Manager and function as an essential member of a multidisciplinary care team.

Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Responsibilities include coordinating care, preparing patients for exams, gathering clinical information, and maintaining exam rooms and equipment.

Job Qualifications and Special Skills include:
 
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  3. Current Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or equivalent credential)
  4. Current CPR certification
  5. Strong clinical knowledge appropriate to training
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and seek guidance when needed
  7. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Accurate and timely documentation skills
  9. Understanding of age-specific patient care
  10. Basic computer proficiency
  11. Working knowledge of insurance types
