Schedule: Monday–Friday. This is a high-volume practice offering a rewarding, team-oriented work environment.



PURPOSE: To support the delivery of medical services through the direct provision of medical care by performing basic nursing and medical and administrative tasks.  The MA II is a job title given to all unlicensed, certified staff who maintain certification via their examination center’s required CEUs. 



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



Performs tasks pertinent to age of patient (infancy to geriatric)



Maintains accurate inventory of medical supplies; assists in the selection of division equipment and supplies.



Performs all nursing procedures (with the exception of certain injections, triage, IVs and IV medications) as directed by the clinician according to the guidelines in the Nursing Procedure Manual.



May be assigned lab duties



Assists in quality assurance and control.           



Participates in the continuing educational process.



Assists in the efficient flow of patients.



Attends work as scheduled.



Performs related duties as assigned.
