?Our Bloomingdale office is looking to add an experienced Full-time Medical Assistant to the team. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and weekends as needed.

The Medical Assistant serves as a central support function within the clinic, acting as a key liaison between providers and patients. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring accurate clinical documentation, efficient patient flow, and a professional, supportive patient experience. Attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and calm professionalism are essential.

Requirements Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Medical Assistant Certificate highly preferred

3+ years of experience in a Medical Assistant role

Experience with an EMR system required, AMD preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment with a steep learning curve

Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and follow-ups

  
  
  

  Greet patients and manage incoming and outgoing patient communications

  
  
  

  Collect and document patient medical histories, vitals, and BMI prior to visits

  
  
  

  Maintain and update patient medical records with accuracy and timeliness

  
  
  

  Schedule laboratory testing, order required lab work, and coordinate lab reviews

  
  
  

  Assist providers during procedures and prepare examination rooms and equipment

  
  
  

  Train on and obtain required certifications for clinical equipment and devices

  
  
  

  Manage medical faxes and support prior authorization requests for prescribed medications

  
  
  

  Process medication refills as directed and coordinate with patient-preferred pharmacies

  
  
  

  Administer injections as directed by providers

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
