Requirements Summary:Current Georgia medical assistant certification, phlebotomy certification, and current CPR. Must be able to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check). Corrections experience preferred. Performs vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assists physicians.

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at McRae Women's Facility located in McRae-Helena, Georgia.

Pay Range: $17-$22

The Medical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab test, and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs, maintaining and cleaning medical equipment, and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned.
