Qualifications:

  • Prior medical assisting experience is required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience in dermatology or surgical assisting is a plus


Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record medical histories and vital signs
  • Administer medications as directed by the physician
  • Assist physicians with exams and surgical procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy, suture removal, wound care, and post-op instructions
  • Set up and maintain clean, sterile procedure rooms
  • Sterilize instruments and manage infection control protocols
  • Assist in managing the iPLEDGE program
  • Document clinical protocols and standard procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness in exam rooms and hallways (floors, counters, surfaces)
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
