About Us

Uplift For Her is an integrative women's health clinic focused on delivering personalized, compassionate whole-woman care. Our team is passionate about creating a nurturing environment for both patients and staff. We are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to make a meaningful impact in women's health.

About the Role

We're hiring a Medical Assistant to join our team and support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. This role blends clinical support, patient coordination, and operational tasks — and it requires someone rock-solid: organized, warm, cheerful, genuinely good with people, and someone who manages a full plate of tasks without anything slipping through the cracks. You'll work closely with our providers, front desk, and practice management team to make sure every patient's experience is smooth and supported, from pre-visit prep through follow-up.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys patient interaction, and thrives in a small, mission-driven clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Prepare for daily appointments by ensuring lab and imaging results are ready.
  • Conduct patient check-in: confirm pharmacy, collect vitals, questionnaires, and update charts in EHR.
  • Support providers during visits by inputting notes, sending Fullscript supplement orders, printing lab requisitions, and attaching educational materials.
  • Manage lab and imaging orders, including requisition creation, printing, faxing, and secure text communication with patients.
  • Assist providers in procedures and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and restocked between visits.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment using the autoclave.

Patient Communication & Follow-Up

  • Review and respond to patient messages regarding prescriptions, care plans, or testing as appropriate.
  • Coordinate prescription refills and document in the EHR for tracking.
  • Educate patients on lab processes, supplement ordering, and testing protocols (Rupa, Boston Heart, SNAP, etc.)
  • Track lab and test results, flagging urgent findings for provider review.

Front Desk & Operational Support

  • Assist with patient check-out and scheduling follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Support supplement checkout and in-clinic purchases.
  • Collaborate with front desk staff to keep patient communications organized and timely.
  • Maintain exam room inventory, lab kits, and clinical supplies.
  • Contribute to daily opening and closing checklists to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • Rock-solid and dependable — organized, calm, and consistent even when the day gets busy
  • Warm, cheerful, and genuinely good with people — patients should feel cared for from the first hello
  • Excellent grammar and spelling
  • 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA, CNA, or equivalent clinical support role) in a medical or wellness setting
  • Excellent organizational skills and task management — able to track multiple moving pieces (orders, results, refills, charting) without dropping any
  • Comfortable using technology (EHR, email, scheduling, texting platforms)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment

What We Offer

  • A supportive, positive work environment that values work-life balance
  • No evening or weekend shifts
  • Opportunities for growth and additional responsibility as the clinic expands
  • A mission-driven team committed to women's health and wellness
  • Employee discounts on services and supplements
