The Medical Assistant/Medical Office Receptionist will provide both general patient care and front office support in a physician office setting. The Medical Assistant will complete tasks as directed by physician and office manager to ensure seamless operation.
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant. Demonstrated phlebotomy experience. Medical Assistant must be credentialed by an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) (within 6 months of hire). Ability to collect and document vital signs and other required medical patient information; Ability to administer injections, vaccines, and medications; Ability to perform basic triage and treatments as directed. Demonstrated ability to use computers (email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.).

Preferred: Medical Assistant Degree. Certified Medical Assistant. 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse. Six months of phlebotomy skills to include blood draws is preferred.
