About the Adult & Family Services Program



The Adult and Family Services (AFS) Therapy Program is ReDiscover’s outpatient therapy department, offering clinicians the

opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families across the community. Our team supports

clients of all ages, backgrounds, and needs — including those who may have struggled to access care elsewhere. Working in

AFS means being part of a collaborative, mission-driven environment where clinicians can apply their skills in diverse ways,

What You'll Do




  • Greet members, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors in a consistent, professional and friendly manner adhering to proper security protocol and logging activity.

  • Answer phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and courteously directs the call to the appropriate personnel or program.

  • Abide by all HIPPA laws and maintains confidentiality for all clients and medical records.

  • Ensure the headquarters lobby is constantly staffed during agreed business hours and maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.

  • Manage schedules accurately for new appointments, check ins, and follow ups.

  • Verify insurance, personal information and account balances. Collects fees when required.

  • Ensure that new charts are ready for use and packets are prepared for programs.

  • Accurately enter information into the EMR (i.e.: financial information, assessment forms, billing, etc.).



 



Requirements of the Position:




  • Availability to work a full-time schedule (#40hours a week), Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:30pm. 

  • High school diploma or GED

  • One to Two years of progressively responsible experience.

  • Previous experience handling large volume of incoming calls as a receptionist preferred.

  • Must possess strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.

  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
