DISC Surgery Center is seeking a Per Diem Medical Receptionist for our Valencia, CA location. This position will have a daytime schedule working roughly 20-29 hours per week. 

In this position, you will:

  Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner. 

  
  

• 
  

  Maintain appearance of the lobby  

  
  

• 
  

  Answer/transfer incoming phone calls 

  
  

• 
  

  Prepare charts for surgery patients and readies for nurse review 

  
  

• 
  

  Obtain lab work and medical clearance for patients  

  
  

• 
  

  Assist with credentialing, medical records, accounts payable, billing/collections, insurance verification, and clinical logs as needed  

  
  

• 
  

  Perform other medical office functions, as needed
