Job Description

Premier Cooperative is looking for a Member Service Representative (MSR) to support our Westby Feed & Grain location. This role is a key position responsible for customer service, administrative support, and grain receiving operations, ensuring accurate transactions and a positive member experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent service to patrons in person and over the phone
  • Assist customers with orders, questions, and transactions
  • Build strong relationships with members and promote cooperative services
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations

Administrative & Office Support

  • Accurately enter transactions, invoices, and customer records
  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
  • Support grain accounting, contracts, and reporting processes
  • Assist with feed order entry, tickets, and coordination as needed

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support compliance with grain handling and recordkeeping requirements

Team Support

  • Assist feed, grain, and other location operations as needed
  • Provide support during peak seasons, including extended hours during harvest
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Grain Receiving

  • Receive inbound grain deliveries and assist with daily grain operations
  • Operate truck scale and ensure accurate scale tickets and documentation
  • Verify grain quality, weights, and required information at intake
  • Coordinate grain flow with operations team during busy periods (especially harvest)
  • Maintain accurate grain records, contracts, and inventory tracking
  • Ensure compliance with all state and company grain handling regulations
