Job Description

Metal Fabricator & Structural Welder


Location: Fulton, MS
Pay: $18.50 – $27.75 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time


About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator & Structural Welder to join our team in Fulton, MS. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding structural steel and metal components used in a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on fabrication experience, strong welding abilities, and the capability to work from blueprints and detailed specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, fit, and weld metal components according to project requirements and engineering drawings.
  • Perform FCAW (Flux Core), MIG, TIG, Stick, and Solid Wire welding processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure, mark, and align materials to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, presses, and other shop tools.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Move and position materials using forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment when required.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
  • Work closely with production teams to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in welding, fabrication, structural steel assembly, or a related trade.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication practices.
  • Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Experience working with structural steel, industrial equipment, or heavy fabrication projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and quality control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
