Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metals and alloys.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for welding.
• Set up welding equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and operational.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and conformity to requirements.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations while performing welding tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical training or equal experience
• Minimum 6 months of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read and understand welding drawings
• Must be able to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings and perform normal math calculations easily
• Must be detail, quality, and team-oriented
• Must be able to walk and stand throughout a ten (10) hour day
• Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds
• Must be a self-starter and continued self-motivator
• Demonstrate a high level of work ethic
