    Special Education Teacher- Minnesota Virtual Academy (MNVA) High School

    Houston Public Schools is seeking a full-time high school special education teacher at Minnesota Virtual Academy beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. MNVA is an online school providing a quality education to all students.  Our Special Education Team focuses on meeting the needs of each individual student while ensuring the best educational program and experience.  

    MNVA offers a remote working environment allowing the hired candidate to work from their home office in MN.

    The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Current or eligible for licensure as a special education teacher in Minnesota
    • Experience with co-teaching and collaboration with general education teachers
    • Student-centered mindset with a focus on collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community agencies.
