POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Planning Supervisor, the Mobile Maintenance Planner will provide preventative maintenance scheduling and will work closely with the maintenance execution, operation and engineering teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates, maintains and reports on the maintenance plan and schedule
- Create Baseline schedule and establish milestones for project to measure progress
- Participates and/or conduct project schedule review meetings and update schedules weekly or as needed to identify progress
- Supports development of monthly schedule reports, including proper analysis and leads schedule development and monitoring for assigned areas
- Monitor critical equipment as per schedule. Set structure of maintenance work order system, forms, and mobile maintenance procurement logistics
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Support reliability improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and condition monitoring.
- Manage backlog and predictive maintenance work.
- Establish and improve processes related to long-term planning practices.
- Creation of reports/finding, presenting solutions utilizing MSOffice suite
- Support and assist in the implementation of FCMI DMMS Program and its continual development; educate other personnel in any area of the DMMS Program
- Actively collaborate with Maintenance and Planning groups
- Communicate effectively to provide, receive, and implement constructive feedback to support the mentoring program
- Support mobile maintenance department leadership as needed
- Evaluate potential strategies related to asset management, materials management, component repair (time-based, condition based, run to failure), equipment selection/configuration, outsourcing bs in-house.
- Develop and implement asset strategies and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) tactics to improve equipment reliability and asset integrity.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly meetings to coordinate, track and communicate actions related to reliability improvement and processes.
- Identify, implement, track and communicate potential cost reduction initiatives to ensure cost impacts are evaluated and approved.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of recognized trade certificate in Mechanical, or relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance as applicable required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds, required.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position required.
