Position Overview:

This is not a remote position. Helms College is seeking a dedicated Basic Medical Assisting Skills Adjunct Faculty to deliver high-quality instruction to students preparing for careers in the healthcare field. Typical work hours fall between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM .

The ideal candidate will be passionate about student success and bring both clinical expertise and real-world experience from a medical setting. This role plays a key part in preparing students for industry certification, job readiness, and ethical service in healthcare environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•             Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with the approved MSMA curriculum

•             Maintain classroom and clinical lab environments that promote hands-on learning

•             Provide regular feedback, guidance, and support to students

•             Participate in campus events such as open houses, graduation, and student enrichment activities

•             Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records

•             Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to Helms College’s mission

•             Ensure compliance with institutional, accreditation, and industry standards

•             Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student retention and completion
