Multimedia Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative, self-starting Multimedia Coordinator to bring our 50-year story to life across digital channels. You�ll own the visual content that represents H&P � from project photography and short-form video to social media, email campaigns, and website updates � and you�ll be on the ground at events capturing the moments that matter.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can pick up a camera, edit footage, write a caption, and schedule a post, work events � all in the same afternoon. You�ll be based in Lynchburg but will travel regularly to all seven H&P offices across Virginia to tell the full story of our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph and film H&P projects, staff, events, and milestones across all seven Virginia offices
- Produce and edit short-form video content for social media, internal use, and recruiting
- Manage and grow H&P�s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) � including writing copy, scheduling posts, and tracking engagement
- Design and send email communications using our email marketing platform
- Make routine updates to the H&P website � text, photos, project spotlights, news posts
- Support planning and on-site execution of company events, groundbreakings, and community initiatives
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to find and tell compelling project stories
- Maintain an organized library of photos, videos, and branded assets
- Assist in writing press releases and working with media contacts
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with photo and video capture � DSLR or mirrorless camera experience preferred
- Comfortable editing video in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar tools
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience managing professional social media accounts
- Strong written communication � you know how to write for a professional audience without sounding stiff
- Organized and reliable � you follow through without being micromanaged
- Travel regularly to all seven H&P offices across Virginia (Lynchburg, Blacksburg, Gretna, Halifax, Chase City, Roanoke, and Wytheville)
- Degree or coursework in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field � or equivalent hands-on experience
Must have a valid drivers license in good standing with a minimum of 3 years licensed driving experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Drone operation
- Experience with WordPress or a similar CMS
- Previous experience in engineering, construction, or AEC industry content
