Duties
Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils manually or with equipment such as dish machines or whirlpool sink. Restocks pots, pans, dish ware and utensils in customer areas and back of the house. Removes trash and cardboard from back of the house and customer areas. Log temperatures of dish machines. Test the concentration of dishwasher sanitizing agents in sinks. Cleans floors, mats, equipment and work surfaces. May use a floor machine. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the chemical storage and mop room. Uses commercial strength chemicals to clean, sanitize and polish. Shovels snow and salts doorways and loading dock entrances. Reviews fire extinguishers monthly for charging and usability.
Assists in other areas with food preparation duties as needed.
Clean facilities and equipment to create safe and functional areas that are appealing to customers.
Cleans floors by sweeping and mopping. Uses commercial strength chemicals to clean, sanitize and polish. Cleans bathrooms following appropriate procedures for dealing with bodily fluids. Replaces paper and other supplies in bathrooms. Empties garbage cans and removes to dumpsters or compactor.
