QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employees...and GROWING! 

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Oversee, coordinate and ensure execution of end-to-end NPI process. Drive cross-functional team to ensure customer approval on NPI test racks in defined timeline. Ensure successful launch of NPI models to MP with proper documentation and training.  Manage communication between corporate, customer and site to validate all necessary items and data for NPI are available prior to NPI builds. Drive NPI process continuous improvement plan with onsite team and corporate.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify completion of NPI Checklist and customer deliverables for NPI models
  • Ensure the creation and update of product and process documents such as process flows, assembly SOPs and any other reference documents for CCBU.
  • Validate and assist with system setup for NPI models.
  • Coordinate NPI builds and lead activity for Engineering, PMC, WH, Production, Test and Quality to meet inspection dates and shipments.
  • Assist with the implementation of ECN’s and reworks needed for production.
  • Ensure proper training to Operations is conducted regarding new products and processes.
  • Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to reason, even when dealing with emotional topics
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.
  • Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY.

·        Assist with resolving Engineering Holds in a timely manner

  • Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Program Management Certification preferred.
  • Two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred.

 

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • PC skills including MS Office, MS Excel, Power Point, Visio
  • Effective written and verbal communication at all levels including customer
  •  Must be a team player that can work efficiently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to function and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of process, detail and follow through
  • Strong set of  creative problem solving and analytical skills
