• We provide a relaxing, welcoming, supportive environment for our patients. You'll have time to get to know them. We typically see 5-6 patients per day.

What we are looking for:

• APNP or PMHNP with excellent clinical skills
• Passionate about helping people and making a difference
• Person that can work independently in collaboration with the medical director

Requirements:

• Valid Wisconsin nurse practitioner license and current DEA license
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to contribute a warm, comforting, professional presence for patients
• Ability to work with MD and techs or medical assistants in a collaborative environment

Duties:

• Examine patients and educate them on our treatments and alternatives
• Administer sub-anesthetic IV Ketamine treatment plan according to protocols using clinical judgment to tailor treatment to each individual
• Monitor and evaluate patients and maintain patient safety throughout their sessions
• Collaborate with mental health providers and communicate patient progress with them
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Safe handling of Schedule 3 controlled substances and related record keeping
• Assist with general clinic operations including maintaining cleanliness and helping the medical assistant turnover rooms if needed
• Phone consults with prospective patients
• Follow up with patients after ketamine treatments

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a clinical setting as nurse practitioner of at least 2 years
• Experience with IV placement
• Experience in mental health is a plus
• Critical care, emergency, or PACU experience is a plus

Hours

Two to Three 8-hour days to start. With the ability to add additional hours as we grow.
