Responsibilities

The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to inpatients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

 

Highlights:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working inpatient setting as an NP Hospitalist 
  • Days-Saturday and Sunday
  • 7am-2pm (14 hours/weekend)
  • 10-15 patients/shift
  • Assist physicians with admissions and rounding
  • EPIC EMR

 

 


Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
  2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  3. BLS upon hire and maintain current.
  4. Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner working on inpatient team.
  5. Previous experience with electronic health record.

Pay Transparency

Pay Rate $70/hour
