Under the general supervision of the medical care provider, and the direct supervision of the Manager, Primary Care Satellites, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total healthcare plan for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other providers and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for a professional practice. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.
- Graduation from an education program for Mid-Level Providers
approved by the NC State Board of Medical Examiners and/or NC Board
of Nursing, and current licensure to practice as a Mid-Level Provider in
North Carolina.
- The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and
react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent,
adult and geriatric patients.
- CPR certification required and provided
