Job Description

Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a new Nurse Practitioner through our 12-month Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. This structured program is designed for recent graduates who have completed an accredited nurse practitioner program within the past 18 months and have not yet been employed in a provider role. As a Nurse Practitioner Resident, you will gain real-world experience in a supportive, mission-driven environment while building the skills and confidence needed for a successful career.

About the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program:

The Nurse Practitioner Resident will provide primary care in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team. During the program, you will participate in:

  • Precepted clinic sessions to build skills under the guidance of experienced providers

  • Mentored clinic sessions to develop autonomy with ongoing support

  • Specialty clinic rotations to gain exposure to a wide range of patient care settings

  • Didactic sessions focused on clinical, operational, and professional development

By the end of the 12 months, the Nurse Practitioner Resident will progress from novice to managing a full panel of patients while strengthening expertise in disease prevention, health promotion, and chronic disease management.

We Offer:

  • 4 Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) + Paid Holidays

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance

  • 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match

  • Life Insurance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account

This is a unique opportunity for a new Nurse Practitioner to receive supervised training, mentorship, and structured clinical experiences while making a difference in the lives of our patients.
