About the Department
Provide support for the full and part-time faculty in support of OTA curriculum activities and competencies.
Position Duties
- Assist faculty in lab courses with student clinical competency evaluation as needed.
- Proctoring exams for faculty as needed.
- Provide feedback to OTA faculty regarding student progress/lack of progress with skill competencies.
- Provide students with opportunities for remedial learning for achieving basic OTA competencies.
- Assist faculty in ensuring accreditation standards are met.
- Provide open lab hours in the OTA lab for student use
- Prepare equipment for instruction before and help organize after each class session.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant program and hold a current NBCOT certification and state licensure/registration. Clinical experience required.
