Job Description

This applicant will assist Heartland Roofing, Siding, and Solar in achieving its vision and mission of success at the highest level of professionalism to ensure complete satisfaction for our homeowners. 



Duties 

  • Answer incoming calls in a timely and polite manner and assist in outbound calling for follow ups, end of project satisfaction calls, etc.

  • Clearly determine purpose of the call 

  • Provide ongoing customer service support. 

  • Take and deliver messages accurately and completely. 

  • Greet visitors in a timely and polite manner. 

  • Be proficient in Quickbooks - there will be some accounting and finance tasks expected

  • Provide collections support

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, prepare outgoing mail - drop in mailbox at the end of the day.  

  • Receive and process deliveries. 

  • Intake new leads and assign accurately in our CRM. Accuracy is a must!   

  • Credit Card processing – make sure we have all the credit card receipts recorded and allocated to the appropriate job, business expense or gas files.  Accuracy is a must! 

  • Work with insurance adjusters to get supplements approved for customer claims in a timely manner. 

  • Generate documents as requested. 

  • Ordering office supplies and track expenses. 

  • Assist in office cleaning. 

  • Additional tasks as deemed appropriate.

Hours 

  • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday with a 1 hour lunch break each day.



Requirements

JOB SUMMARY 

 

Required Skills 

  • Computer Software: You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and Chrome. Experience in QuickBooks preferred. 

  • Multitasking skills: You should be able to juggle several demands at once and prioritize tasks throughout the day. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Customer service is our number one goal 

  • Organizational: You must be detail-oriented and organized, able to locate a document or recall protocol at a moment's notice. 

  • Decision-making: You'll often find yourself handling several tasks almost simultaneously, particularly in our busy season, so you should be able to prioritize and make time-effective decisions.
