An Office Assistant keeps the mills financial and production records accurate while supporting daily operations, sales and logistics.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and manage delivery notes, bills of lading, and dispatch documentation;
2. Coordinate with truck drivers, yard staff, and customers to ensure outgoing loads and incoming timber are properly documented;
3. Track and verify physical log or lumber counts against "inventory system numbers";
4. Generate and issue customer invoices for lumber and wood products;
5. Process supplier and invoices and manage accounts payable;
6. Capture and enter daily production data at the end of day.
