Our unique care model places dedicated providers and experienced medical assistants on-site at senior communities up to five days per week, running a clinic within the facility so residents can access complex medical care without leaving home. Our team is committed to reducing hospitalizations, improving health outcomes, and becoming each community's trusted clinical partner.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Office Manager / Medical Assistant to serve as the operational backbone of our field-based care team. This is a dual-function role for someone who thrives in both a clinical support capacity and an administrative leadership one. You will help ensure that every patient interaction is seamless, every provider is well-supported, and every clinic day runs efficiently.

  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure smooth workflow and a high standard of patient service

  • Manage scheduling, patient flow, and office communications

  • Support providers during examinations and minor procedures

  • Maintain patient records and coordinate lab specimen collection

  • Handle ordering and inventory of medical and office supplies

  • Keep examination rooms clean, stocked, and organized

  • Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations

  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a leadership mindset

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or Medical Assisting certification preferred

  • Prior experience in medical office management or healthcare administration strongly preferred

  • Comfortable working full-time in an in-person, facility-based environment

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $23 to $25, based on experience

  • Comprehensive benefits package

  • Paid time off and paid holidays

  • Flexible scheduling

  • A collaborative, mission-driven team environment

Work Setting

This is an in-person role. You will work directly within senior living and skilled nursing facilities, embedded as part of the Maximize Health on-site clinic team.
