The Role
The Office Manager owns the day-to-day operations of our office and leads our people processes. This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who likes to build order, anticipate needs, and make a workplace run smoothly. You will be the person everyone counts on to keep the office humming and to make new team members feel set up for success from day one.
What You Will Do
Office Operations and Facilities
- Keep the office running day to day, including supplies, equipment, mail, and general upkeep
- Manage vendor and service-provider relationships and keep costs in check
- Own office systems and processes, and improve them over time
- Coordinate building, IT, and equipment needs so nothing slips
- Support firm leadership with scheduling, planning, and special projects
HR and Onboarding
- Run the new-hire onboarding process so every team member starts strong
- Maintain employee records, PTO tracking, and HR documentation
- Support benefits administration and act as a friendly first point of contact for staff questions
- Help coordinate hiring logistics, including scheduling and candidate communication
- Help build and document the people processes that keep a growing firm healthy
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years in office management, operations, or HR coordination, ideally in a professional services or law firm setting
- Strong organizational skills and genuine ownership of your work
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools
- Clear, professional communication with staff, clients, and vendors
- Discretion and good judgment with confidential information
- A systems mindset: you see a messy process and want to fix it
