Security Guard   Valdosta, GA 31601     

Are you dependable, observant, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment? We are seeking a Security Guard to help protect our employees, visitors, facilities, and assets. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime and a chance to play a key role in supporting daily operations.

What You'll Do

As a Security Guard, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors while helping maintain a safe workplace. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and controlling access to company property

  • Greeting and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors

  • Conducting routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas

  • Monitoring security cameras and responding to unusual activity

  • Investigating and documenting incidents, safety concerns, and security violations

  • Enforcing company policies and security procedures

  • Communicating important information to management and emergency responders when needed

  • Completing detailed reports of daily activities and incidents

  • Helping ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for everyone on site

What We're Looking For

  • Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred

  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods

  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports
