Job Description

John Muir Health Cancer Medical Group is seeking a well-trained Nurse Practitioner committed to excellent patient care to join our Bay Area team in highly desirable Walnut Creek, CA. Qualifications:

·      Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Program – Required

·      RN Registered Nursing – CA Board of Nursing – Required and

·      NP Registered Nurse Practitioner – CA Board of Registered Nursing – Required and

·      NP-F Registered Nurse Practitioner Furnishing - CA Board of Registered Nursing - Required and

·      Family Nurse Practitioner - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center - Required or

·      NP Nurse Practitioner - AANP American Association of Nurse Practitioners – Required

·      CA DEA – Required

·      BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association – Required

·      1 year of recent oncology experience with demonstrated clinical experience as a RN or NP in oncology care, including chemotherapy plans, patient education and care coordination - Required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·            Outpatient Solid Tumor oncology experience

·            Experience supporting an oncologist rounding on in-patients and collaborating with hospitalists on shared patients.

·            Experience working with Clinical Trial Protocols

·            EPIC and Beacon experience

Salary Range:

$180,000 to $250,000 per year (depending on experience)
