DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Outpatient Clinic Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee clinical operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflow, service delivery, and adherence to agency policies.

  • Monitor revenues, expenses, service trends, productivity, caseload distribution, documentation timeliness, and clinical outcomes.

  • Ensure the clinic and staff are compliant with federal, state, ethical, organizational standards, service requirements, evidence-based practices, and documentation standards.

  • Support the development and monitoring of clinic budgets in partnership with supervisory leadership.

  • Recommend, implement, and refine systems or processes that improve efficiency, clinical quality, customer service, and revenue generation.

  • Work collaboratively with directors, support staff, and practice managers to maintain professional, organized, and client-centered clinic environments.

  • Ensure appropriate and timely communication of BH and organizational information to clinical staff.

  • Be available for on-call calls, questions, concerns, issues, or evaluations as they arise/as needed.

Clinical Oversight & Staff Support

  • Provide direct supervision, consultation, and performance feedback to all clinical staff within the clinic.

  • Assign cases, coordinate schedules, review documentation, and ensure adherence to clinical standards.

  • Conduct performance evaluations annually or as needed.

  • Provide training, coaching, and professional development for therapists and associated staff.

Direct Clinical Services

  • Provide evaluations, diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, and outpatient psychotherapy (individual, family, group, or collateral).

  • Maintain a reduced but active caseload consistent with leadership responsibilities.

  • Provide consultation and education to community agencies, law enforcement, schools, businesses, and other partners.

Program Coordination & Community Relations

  • Coordinate clinical services, dual-diagnosis support, and other assigned programs provided through the clinic.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with agencies including but not limited to school systems, justice systems, hospitals, DCBS and other community stakeholders.

  • Oversee clinical program integration across departments (e.g., crisis services, school-based services, case management) and support community engagement efforts such as outreach, marketing, and program visibility initiatives.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct regular documentation reviews, chart audits, and clinical quality checks.

  • Provide feedback, corrective action, and coaching to ensure compliance with agency, payer, and regulatory standards.

  • Work proactively to address consumer and clinician concerns.

  • Promote adherence to agency core values, ethical practice, and trauma-informed service delivery.

Other Duties

  • Attend meetings, leadership trainings, conferences, and organizational activities as assigned.

  • Serve on committees or project teams as needed.

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Clinical Services
