Job Description
Position: Business/ Operations Analyst
Experience: 2-4 years

Requirements
Operational KPI Governance & RCA
Monitor daily and weekly factory KPIs: like OEE, Lead time, OTD, Downtime etc and maintain KPI scorecard
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on KPI deviations using Six Sigma tools like Fishbone Diagrams and the 5-Why technique.
Ensure data integrity between the physical shop floor and digital dashboards (SAP/AppSheet).
- Process Re-engineering (BPR): Analyze existing manufacturing and supply chain workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies. Design and implement "to-be" processes that improve throughput and reduce cycle time.
- SAP Optimization: Leverage deep knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning) and MM (Material Management) to configure, test, and optimize system usage for manufacturing operations.
- Process Mapping & Documentation: Translate complex cross-functional requirements into clear, visual process maps (using tools like BPMN, Visio, or similar) to ensure organizational alignment.
- Requirement Elicitation: Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observation sessions with shop-floor managers and production leads to document granular business requirements.
- Change Management: Act as a change agent by developing communication and training plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes across the manufacturing unit.
- Data-Driven Insights: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency and SAP system utilization to measure the success of re-engineering initiatives.
Project & Initiative Management
Act as the local Project Coordinator for strategic initiatives (e.g., Lean Implementation, New Product assembly lines, Digitalization of Data etc).
Maintain Project Charters and Gantt Charts for factory-side improvements to ensure milestones are met without "prodding."
Manage dependencies between departments (Production, Quality, Stores, Supply chain) to prevent project delays.
Facilitate CFT meetings on process improvements, bottleneck identifications and project planning.
Strategic Liaison & Reporting
Conduct "Gemba Walks" to observe real-time execution gaps and report them to the reporting manager.
Translate top-level strategy into shop-floor "Action Boards" (SQCDP) that operators can understand and follow.
Technical Skills & Competencies Required
PPC Foundations: Strong understanding of Work Orders, BOM, and Production Scheduling.
Six Sigma: Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt level). Ability to use Pareto Charts and Control Charts.
Project Management: Familiarity with MS Project, Trello, or structured Excel Gantt charts. Understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM).
Data Literacy: Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic SAP-PP module exposure.
BPR: Proficiency in process mapping software (e.g., Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, Bizagi).
Behavioral Traits
Assertiveness: Ability to follow up with senior production staff and cell leaders to ensure accountability.
Conceptual Curiosity: A "Why" mindset—looking beyond the schedule to find systemic improvements.
