Young Audiences Charter Schools (YACS)

Young Audiences Charter Schools is seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our Operations and Technology Team. We are building a pool of talented instructional leaders who are committed to supporting teachers, improving student outcomes, and advancing our mission of arts-integrated education.

This posting is for a variety of Operations and Technology positions across the network, including but not limited to:

• Operation Director
• Technology Specialist
• Front Office Staff
• Bilingual Front Office Staff

Key Responsibilities

Operations Manager

• Oversees daily school operations, including facilities, scheduling, and logistics.
• Manages school supplies, maintenance, and vendor relationships.
• Supports staff with operational processes like attendance, payroll, and record-keeping.
• Coordinates school events, transportation, and safety procedures.
• Ensures compliance with school policies and district/state regulations.

Tech Specialist

• Supports staff and students with technology-related issues (computers, software, devices, and networks).
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots hardware and software.
• Provides training on technology tools and educational platforms.
• Assists with integrating technology into instruction and school operations.
• Ensures data security and proper functioning of school systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Valid Louisiana teaching certification required
• Demonstrated success in the classroom and a commitment to student achievement
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Experience supporting diverse learners, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners, is a plus
