We are seeking a reliable Field Manager to act as the "Right Hand" to the owner. This role includes a company vehicle, morning operational duties, and logistics management. Perfect for an early riser with leadership potential.
Description
The Operations Field Manager ensures Clean King runs smoothly by handling logistics, inventory, and morning facility access. You will oversee the opening of key accounts and serve as the primary backup for route staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Morning Operations: Execute the opening cleaning protocol for our Laundromat contract (Mon-Wed-Fri, 4:30-7:30am) (Tues-Thurs 5:30am-7am). This includes strict fire-safety maintenance of dryer lint traps. There is also another dedicated route and potential for special projects.
- Logistics & Fleet: Operate the company-provided utility vehicle (Nissan Frontier) to transport equipment, wash mop heads, and restock supplies at client sites.
- Quality Assurance: Perform random "Blue Tape" inspections at client sites to ensure technicians are meeting standards. Also does walk throughs for new clients
- Emergency Coverage: Act as the first point of contact/fill-in if evening route staff call off. May be asked to assist washing dirty mop heads and towels and other duties.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License (Clean driving record required for company vehicle insurance).
- Ability to work early mornings (5AM start time is mandatory).
- Strong communication skills for client and staff interaction.
- Previous janitorial or management experience is preferred.
- Specialty Skills Required: Must have experience or willingness to be certified in Commercial Carpet Extraction and VCT Floor Care. This is a working role that generates revenue through specialty services.
- Will serve as a company representative at Elgin Chamber of Commerce events and client walkthroughs. Professional communication and high integrity are non-negotiable
