Element Vacation Homes is currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. Our systems are pretty good but we need you to make them even better. This position wears many hats including:

  • End-to-End Operations: Manage property readiness, guest satisfaction, and brand standards across all operations departments
  • Leadership & Team Building: Guide, train, and motivate a cross-functional team to deliver excellence every day
  • Elevated Experiences: Create memorable stays through concierge services, showcase-ready homes, and prompt issue resolution

Element Vacation Homes is a Central Florida property management company specializing in larger high-quality short-term vacation home rentals. Formed in late 2020 with an emphasis on happy owners and happy guests.

Requirements

Some of What You’ll be Doing

  • Direct day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth departmental coordination while upholding brand standards and keeping the team informed on products, services, policies, and local knowledge
  • Complete ownership of overall condition of properties, conducting detailed arrival/departure inspections, maintaining showcase-ready standards, and ensuring all electronics, arcades, appliances, and amenities function perfectly * Fair warning: our standards are pretty high
  • Lead, recruit, train and support a diverse operations team spanning housekeeping to maintenance while fostering strong vendor relationships
  • Ensure VIPs, owners, repeat guests, and media visitors receive an exceptional experience, including executing concierge services to enhance their stay
  • Seamlessly onboard new properties into program including creating initial punch list, accepting deliveries, assembly tasks, staging, and other logistical tasks ensuring all deadlines are kept
  • Forecast and schedule tasks for smooth operations, oversee seasonal maintenance, and respond swiftly to emergencies and guest issues
  • Accurately report/log key information and actively engage with online feedback
  • Participate in after-hours management duties and attend scheduled meetings
  • Tackle additional projects as requested

 

 What You Need

  • Progressive experience in vacation rental or hotel operations
  • Proven leadership with strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Out of the box thinker & aggressive problem solver – you don’t let anything stand in your way – no excuses
  • Team player, we all wear many hats
  • Exceptional social & people skills – you’ll need to be able to make sincere connections with guests, potential guests, community members, owners and vendors
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Basic maintenance abilities
  • Reliable transportation & flexible schedule – weekends & holidays required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
