Job Description

At Coram AI, we’re reimagining video security for the modern world. Our cloud-native platform uses computer vision and AI to help businesses stay safe, make smarter decisions, and move faster; from real-time alerts to seamless clip sharing and multi-site visibility.

You’ll be joining an ambitious, fast-moving team that values clarity, craftsmanship, and impact. Every person here has a voice, ships meaningful work, and helps shape how AI can make the world safer and more connected.

About Coram AI

Coram is building the defining Physical AI platform of this decade. We are growing rapidly, with strong market pull, and a clear mission: protect any physical space through always-on AI agents that convert sensor data from cameras, access controls, and alarms into real-time actions and insights.

The founding team brings deep technical DNA from self-driving and robotics. We have built and scaled teams at Zoox (acquired by Amazon for $1.5B), Lyft, and Toyota, and previously founded companies that were acquired by Lyft. We know how to build category-defining products and scale them.

We are going after a massive market with a vertically integrated platform across software and hardware. Coram is fundamentally different from incumbents: our platform is camera-agnostic, allowing customers to use existing infrastructure instead of locking them into proprietary ecosystems.

Our core technical advantage is a proprietary AI stack running on high-performance GPUs deployed on-premise. This lets us move faster than anyone else in adopting new AI capabilities while delivering low-latency, privacy-first solutions at scale, and it has translated into best-in-class win rates in a massive, underserved market.

The Role

We are looking for someone to own the operational backbone of Coram day to day: our offices and the people operations that run on top of them. As we grow fast across multiple locations, you will make sure our spaces, systems, and team experience scale with us. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role based onsite at our Sunnyvale HQ five days a week.

On the office side, you will own workplace operations end to end: facilities, AV, supplies, vendors, and insurance; office events and offsites; travel; and the workplace budget across our locations. You will lead moves, buildouts, and space planning as we grow, and partner closely with IT and security.

On the people side, you will own the employee experience across the lifecycle: onboarding, the day-to-day people-operations admin (HRIS, benefits coordination, policies, and compliance), and offboarding, while supporting managers across the team. You will hire, mentor, and manage a small team as the function scales.

We are open to leveling this role to the right person, from a hands-on manager to a more senior workplace and people operations leader.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of workplace, office, or people operations experience, ideally at a fast-growing company

  • a track record of owning office or workplace operations across one or more locations (facilities, vendors, events, space planning, and budgets)

  • experience with people operations, including onboarding, the employee lifecycle, and the day-to-day admin that supports a team

  • experience hiring, mentoring, or managing a small team

  • a hands-on operator who has helped a company scale and brings structure to ambiguity

  • able to work onsite five days a week at our Sunnyvale HQ

Personal Characteristics

  • Owner — you treat the office and the team as your own and take end-to-end responsibility.

  • Hands-on — happy to do the work yourself, not just delegate it.

  • Calm in chaos — you bring structure and follow-through as the company scales.

  • People-first — you care deeply about how it feels to work here.

  • Adaptable — comfortable with shifting priorities and wearing many hats.

We're on a mission to transform a $50B+ legacy industry by bringing the power of cutting-edge multimodal LLMs and computer vision to real-world security and operations. From firearm detection to intelligent access control, our AI-native platform turns every camera and sensor into a smart system that enhances safety, efficiency, and awareness.
