We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Operations Supervisor to help lead daily hotel operations while delivering exceptional guest experience and supporting financial performance. This key leadership role oversees Front Desk, Housekeeping support, Food & Beverage, and Market operations while ensuring full compliance with Marriott brand standards.
The ideal candidate is a service-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, excels at coaching teams, and has a keen eye for operational excellence, guest satisfaction, inventory management, and food safety.
What You'll Do
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Review the Guest Planning Screen daily to prepare for VIP arrivals, Elite Members, Mobile Check-In guests, and special requests.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of Mobile Keys for eligible guests prior to arrival.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott's Steps of Service and Shaping Service standards through coaching, observation, and real-time feedback.
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring all GXP cases are documented and closed within Marriott standards.
- Create memorable guest experiences that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and positive reviews.
Housekeeping & Property Standards
- Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness and brand compliance.
- Support housekeeping and laundry operations when needed.
- Monitor guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain exceptional presentation standards.
Food & Beverage & Market Operations
- Ensure 100% completion and accuracy of A1, A2, and A3 Bistro food safety logs.
- Maintain compliance with food labeling, dating, product rotation, and sanitation standards.
- Keep the Bistro and Market areas clean, organized, fully stocked, and guest-ready at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize product waste.
Inventory, Logistics & Financial Performance
- Maintain proper par levels for Front Desk, Bistro, Market, guest amenities, and welcome gifts.
- Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory control for operational supplies.
- Coordinate United Airlines crew room accommodation and transportation arrangements to meet contractual requirements.
- Support labor management, scheduling efficiency, and department expense controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Team Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Coach, motivate, and develop associates to build a high-performing and accountable team culture.
- Drive Marriott Bonvoy enrollment goals through training and daily accountability.
- Promote room upgrades and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue while enhancing the guest experience.
- Recognize team achievements and celebrate successes.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hotel operations, hospitality, food & beverage, or guest services.
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and hospitality operations.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
