Job Description:

Brown Family Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused part time orthodontic assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is energetic, personable, and passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences.

Position Details:

  • Part-Time: 24-32 hours per week
  • Travel required: Position rotates between 4 office locations (Mandeville, Metairie, Marrero, and Chalmette)
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexibility with travel

Responsibilities:

  • Assist orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
  • Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments
  • Take orthodontic records, digital scans, and x-rays as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming patient experience
Qualifications:
  • Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
  • X-ray certification preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
