Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on OTR routes along the East Coast
• Deliver tires and related products to Southern Tire Mart locations and customers
• Load and unload freight by hand using a liftgate
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs
• Follow all DOT regulations and ELD requirements
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route updates

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
• Clean driving record (subject to insurance approval)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Willingness to travel over the road and sleep in the truck’s sleeper cab
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations and ELOG requirements
• Must pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screen
• Work Environment
• Over-the-road travel throughout the East Coast
• Overnight travel required
• Physical loading and unloading of tires and related products
• Exposure to outdoor conditions during deliveries
