Essential FunctionsDevelop and grow a defined sales territory through a combination of new business development and account managementPlan and execute strategic sales calls with existing and prospective customers using CRM toolsIdentify customer needs and deliver tailored motion control and fluid power solutionsPrepare and present proposals that clearly communicate value and drive resultsBuild strong, consultative relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisorCollaborate closely with inside sales, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experienceConduct on-site product demonstrations and Lunch & Learns with customers and vendor partnersPartner with manufacturer representatives on joint sales calls and business development effortsActively uncover cross-selling opportunities across divisions to expand customer partnershipsParticipate in ongoing product and sales training to continuously build technical expertiseProactively resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfactionExperience, Education and SkillsBachelor’s degree or technical degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field (preferred)2+ years of outside technical sales experience (fluid power or industrial sales preferred)Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS) is a plusExperience with or knowledge of Parker products is a strong plusUnderstanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical systems and motion control applicationsAbility to identify, specify, and recommend solutions based on customer needsStrong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based roleProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordSome overnight travel will be required Why The Hope Group?
