Our Consumer and Construction Products segment is made up of our packaged and bulk concrete and concrete repair products for construction professionals and homeowners.

Quikrete, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative for the greater St. Joseph, MO market. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a customer base through sales, service, and a collection of receivables to maximize profits on the production and sales of ready-mix. The Sales Representative must develop, analyze, and maintain market intelligence; network, build and maintain customer relationships internally and externally; promotional activities and trade association involvement.

About the Role 


Responsibilities:



  • Visit active job sites to provide technical support and build customer relationships

  • Deliver effective product demonstrations and training sessions to contractors and distributors

  • Represent QUIKRETE at local and national construction trade shows

  • Develop and maintain accurate product forecasts and delivery schedules (weekly and annual)

  • Identify new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing accounts

  • Travel as required, including occasional overnight stays

About You


We Require:



  • 3–5 years of experience in sales or marketing (construction materials industry preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs as needed
