Job Summary:
As a Class A CDL OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods at various locations across the country. The ideal Class A CDL OTR Driver adheres to American Furniture Warehouse’s quality expectations and safety standards.

- HOME WEEKLY with 34-48 hours of home time.

- Average yearly starting pay is between $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Pay starting at $.56-.58 CPM DOE
- Average 3,000 miles per week.

- Most of our loads are drop and hook; 98% no-touch freight, Trips are pre-planned/scheduled.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
- Operate 53' dry Vans requiring an appropriate CDL license
- use of electronic logging device, ELD
- Report any vehicle problems and defects to the on-site truck maintenance department.
- Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.
- Reinforce the American Furniture Warehouse high standards of customer service by consistently delivering orders on time and in a courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Must have a CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment.
- No major FMCSA violations.
- Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years.
- Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.
- Must be based / live within 100 miles of an American Furniture Warehouse DC.
A Pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background check must be passed upon job offer.
