Job Description

Field Day Brewing Co., North Liberty's first and only brewery and full-service restaurant, is hiring a Packaging Assistant to support our brewery operations team.

Field Day Brewing Co. combines a rotating craft beer lineup with a chef-driven, scratch-inspired menu in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on quality, consistency, and hospitality.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to assist with packaging operations and keg washing. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a production brewery environment while contributing to the quality and presentation of our beer.

Compensation ranges from $16 - $20 per hour based on experience.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 5-10 hours per week. Flexible availability is required based on brewery production and packaging needs. Anticipated start date is July 17.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with beer packaging operations, including canning and kegging activities
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain kegs using brewery cleaning procedures
  • Support brewery production and packaging processes as directed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe brewery work environment
  • Follow quality control, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Assist with equipment cleaning and general brewery housekeeping
  • Support overall brewery operations and team success as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous brewery, manufacturing, warehouse, or food production experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds, including kegs and brewery materials
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
  • Flexible availability to support brewery production schedules
