Description

Who We Are

OMNY is a real-world data exchange platform that enables health systems and specialty networks to share their de-identified data sets with external parties at scale. The company’s vision is to help sustain the healthcare ecosystem through a data driven business model, while unlocking incredible innovation in the life sciences industry with real world data from health systems. The OMNY platform ensures control, security, and data governance for both data sellers and data buyers. We are eager to onboard professionals who are prepared to innovate and redefine the standards of data sharing and utilization. Join us if you are ready to take on significant challenges and contribute to our continuous success!

What We're Looking For

As a proactive paralegal working with OMNY, you will act as the engine of our contracting process, helping to guide and manage everything from standard NDAs to complex vendor and client agreements.  This role is a fantastic opportunity for a semi-seasoned paralegal who thrives on autonomy. You will collaborate directly with internal stakeholders, keep our legal operations highly organized, and serve things up cleanly for final review by our Head of Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management & Drafting

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of standard corporate agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, client service agreements, and sales cycle contracting.
  • Partner closely with the sales team and internal stakeholders to expedite contract turnarounds and keep the sales cycle moving efficiently.
  • Identify potential risks or deviations from standard company guidelines and escalate them effectively.
  • Serve as an external-facing operational point of contact for clients and vendors to expedite contract intake, gather necessary deal terms, and coordinate signature execution.

Legal Operations & Organization

  • Maintain, organize, and optimize our digital contract management system and legal files.
  • Track key contract milestones, renewal dates, and compliance obligations.
  • Help streamline legal workflows and processes to improve overall team efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Meet regularly with internal business units to understand contract requirements and provide status updates.
  • Prepare clear, concise summaries of contract issues and legal operational updates for the Head of Legal.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience as a corporate or commercial transactions paralegal (in-house corporate experience or a mix of law firm/in-house is preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working within the healthcare sector is highly preferred (familiarity with healthcare regulatory concepts is a major plus).
  • Autonomy: A proven track record of working independently, managing a heavy contract pipeline, and knowing when to solve a problem vs. when to escalate it.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency with customer relationship management software (CRM tools), electronic signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign), and standard productivity suites (Google Workspace/MS Office/SharePoint).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal points to non-legal internal stakeholders.
